Bleeding and resuscitation
Control the loss, restore circulation and reassess the response.
Control hemorrhage
Identify all wounds and use the available bandaging, packing, tourniquet and pressure actions appropriate to their location. Recheck for continuing loss after treatment and during movement.
Addon Options > ACM Extended: Systems > Systems includes Junctional Wounds and Direct Pressure. Their Hardcore options are in the same category under Hardcore.
Restore circulation
Use Fluids and blood volume to distinguish fluid delivered from useful circulating volume. Check the access site, bag, clamp and flow using IV access and infusions. A higher blood pressure alone does not prove that bleeding has stopped.
Medication support has separate limitations. Read the TXA, calcium and pressor cards for game effects, timing and interactions.
Temperature and recovery
Reassess temperature alongside perfusion. With ACM Extended: Systems > Blood > Cold blood causes hypothermia enabled, unwarmed blood can cool the patient. Use the LifeWarmer to address this source of cooling.
See Hemorrhage and shock for the broader system guide and ROSC requirements if circulation is lost.
