How systems connect
Use the patient’s examinations, monitor and treatment controls together.
Start with the patient
Check bleeding, the airway, breathing and circulation. An ECG describes electrical activity; a pulse and blood pressure describe whether that activity produces useful circulation. A normal SpO2 reading does not restore missing blood volume.
Use Clinical descriptors to interpret the examination wording. Change Addon Options > ACM Extended: Systems > Hardcore > [HARDCORE] Clinical Descriptors if you prefer plain or clinical labels.
Follow delivery and response
| Question | Reference |
|---|---|
Did the medication reach the patient? | IV access and infusions: assess placement, flow, leakage and flush requirements. |
When should it work? | Medication cards: route, reference dose, onset, peak, adverse effects and interactions. |
Is there circulation? | Cardiac rhythms: pulse checks, perfusing rhythms, arrest and ROSC conditions. |
What does the volume mean? | Fluids and blood volume: delivered fluid, losses and circulating volume. |
Is the head injury recovering? | Traumatic Brain Injury: distinguish structural history from acute burden, then check oxygen delivery, ventilation, ICP, CPP and autonomic tone. |
Change an available option
The Addon options reference gives the exact category and label for controls used in this wiki. Mission tuning should use those visible controls. Some timings and probabilities are fixed build defaults and have no user facing slider.
For diagnostic testing, enable ACM Extended: Debug > Overlay > Debug menu. Compare findings before treatment, after delivery and after the expected peak effect.
